Welcome to After School Art!

 

From September ‘til June, some of the most gifted and creative art students in North Worcester County are busy honing their skills in downtown Leominster under the direction of their mentor and teacher, Mrs. Robin DiPrima Koroskenyi.

 

Miss Robin, as the children call her, is a gifted teacher who conducts one-hour classes in her studio for students in grades K – 12.

 

Students are guided into developing their skills in drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, printmaking, three-dimensional art, cartooning and mixed-media.

 

The year ends with a spectacular art show and reception held in June where each student is publicly recognized before a large and supportive audience including the mayor and invited media sent to cover the show.

 

Robin’s special relationship with her students allows her to speak into their lives and a friendship usually grows that will last a lifetime.  It is also not uncommon for parents to confide in Robin, or to seek her out for advice on other issues concerning the student.
